No one helped me, was turned down by disabled facilities grant, so I had to do it myself, it sort of works.

As you know I have a bad back, since I had broken  since 2001, but still able to walk, swim, but cant really run , jump etc without feeling pain.  It did improve well since the event of attempted suicide, but when it was kicked in the back by a doorman at a night club and a year later a policeman in my own home.  Its never improved. I found it difficult to wash my hair , or even  keep myself clean and I rarely use the bath because of avoiding back pain while cleaning myself, particularly my hair. My hair is in a terrible state, and has some burs in it.
 I put a request http://www.sunderlandcareandsupport.co.uk/12-in-your-home/39-disabled-facilities-grant

  • Over bath shower is a shower unit fitted over the existing bath. The work may involve removing the bath panel, lifting carpets and floorboards and working in the loft to install electrical cables and pipe work. It may be a necessary to run cables in walls by cutting a groove for the cable and then re-plastering which would cause damage to your decoration. Alternatively, the cable could be placed within plastic trunking fitted on top of the wall surface. Usually, the shower wall will be tiled up to 2 metres (6'6") above floor level using plain white tiles (unless you supply an alternative tile) and a shower curtain provided for the other sides. If necessary, an extractor fan will be fitted through the external wall, ceiling or window. The work will take between three and four days to complete

I requested  to have a shower unit installed over my bath, I was rejected out of discrimination twice, because of my gender issues, and most people hate me for it...  I cant help it I was born this way, and the medical treatment is procrastinating with me on purpose. The reason is because they believe money, this virtual pice of comoditey shit is more important than my life, my hygeine and my happiness.

I decided to make one myself using an old slip-on shower piece, but it does not seem to hold on the taps. So I glued them on the taps with a type of silicon , and then gorilla duct taped  it on, nailed a the shower head on the wall.
I had not washed myself for a week, and was getting uncomfortable  and more depressed than usual.
I could now get the burs out of my hair that had been lodged in for months , and had collected sweat and made my hair stink,

It worked for the first 10 minutets, but because of the bad design of the taps, the water pressure started to make holes through the silicon glue and shoot all over the place, and the hot water had burned me on my leg, since the heat and pressure softened the silicon and was the first one to come off. The thing is the fixture is stuck on for good, sort of good and messy.... I hope this would get their attention, and I am going to the housing association , gentoo and say I need this fixed, else I am going to kill myself, since I cant live like this, be treated with less respect than a piece of paper with queen's head printed on it.
